So yeah, red/green colorblindness. I can see fire engine red and grass but if it moves too far away from those absolutes, you can forget it. For example, I learned to read traffic lights by their position. "Stop, up top". 

Blue, on the other hand, in any shade, always gives off a slight vibration when I see it. It's the only color that feels true. Which is why it's used throughout the site in accents and footers and pics that probably seem completely random. Naming my first daughter "Cyan" however, was very intentional.
